Volumetric Feeders

It is the simplest of all feeders and the most economical one as well. It has a hopper through which the material is passed on for processing. The product is measured by volume and not by weight. It is suitable for constant density products as the weight is nor measured but inferred. It has no weight feedback to assure feeding accuracy.

The material is not weighed but measured by the volume per unit of time. are open-loop devices and cannot detect or adjust to variations in the material's density. Screw control is used to control the flow rate.
