Thread Grinding Machinery

The thread grinding machines are used to create the threads or grooves on different products. Tap grinder was the first grinding machine built. Since then the machines are based on the same principle with minor variations and modifications that have taken place due to the mechanization and computerization of processes. The machine had a grinding wheel and a turning mechanism

Today full helix thread grinders are more common. Certain models allow to grind threads, key slots, rings and other forms on the same machine. The machine automatically corrects wheel forms for helical path interference.

The external grinder is equipped with linear motors for maximum acceleration and contouring capability. The machine can be used for producing taps, multi-start worms, electronic steering components, fast lead ball screws, feed and bone screws, gearboxes, transmissions and speed reducers.
