Stone Crushing Machines

The stone crushing machines are used in mining, stone quarries, sand making and for different levels of hardness.

The crushing though done for centuries, now has very efficient designs. The basic lay out involves a ground level hopper to which the quarried stone is discharged. From a series of apron and curtain feeders, it is passed on to a heavy perforated sieve like structure and separate different sized stones. The over sized are sent to the primary crushers and then to the conveyer parallel to the one carrying undersized and then finally sent to the secondary crusher.

The most common types of crushers are Jaw Crushers and gyratory crushers. Jaw crushers are ideal for coarse grinding and gyratory types due to cone and head grinding action, produce finer particles.
