Stuctured PackingHitek has the in-house expertness to design and construct, absorption, columns for distillation, extraction and also the integrated packings, which constitute their life-sustaining internals. We have been able to ensure higher and more effective mass transfer with purifications in the geometric structure of the packings.

The integrated packings of Hitek have exhaled as the singular and total solution to effectively and economically solve the separation problems relating to heat, energy and space. We have replaced formal packings in numerous applications with our specially designed Structured Packings, radically changing the sound structure of extraction, distillation and absorption systems. The structured packings are specially formed out of selected metal sheet or designed internals.

We have a number of examples in structured packings, each one tested, developed, proven and improved systematically by our technical team. Our integrated packings are comparable to the finest, both in the domestic as well as the international market. The technical progresses and extending research has led to the development of better designed packings at lower cost, whose benefit is pondered in the economic rating of our quality packings.

Advantages
Our Packings offer following advantages in comparison to Random Packings and Trays of Various types :
  • Smaller hold-up.
  • Unchanged functioning even at lower loadings.
  • Lower pressure drop, especially for void operations - resulting in lower operating temperatures (important for heat sensitive materials).
  • Higher loading/ throughput of columns, especially for larger diameter columns.
