These mills use fluid jet streams to grind the product. This process can handle the most difficult of all processes and that too without any heat generation. They are used for fine grinding of almost all types of particles that may be hard, brittle, abrasive or soft

Principle
The working principle is that the jet stream of feed particles is impacted against a wall or an opposing jet of particles for down sizing. This impact is four time the impact against the stationary object. Compressed air, steam or other gases are used to produce impact.

Process
The material is fed into the hopper and fired through a tubeand another jet is forced in opposing direction through another tube. They impact head on and then swept to the classification chamber. The larger particles automatically move to the outer side by the centrifugal force and finally down and the smaller to the center and discharged to graded collectors.
