Chemical Agitators

Chemical agitators are used for the purpose of mixing chemicals. It is milder than other processes and avoids aeration of the mixing chemicals.

Ribbon Agitator They are used for free flowing chemicals and materials like plastics and lubricants and color etc. in fine powder form. The agitator ribbons are so arranged that the outer one push the ingredients to the center and the inner ones back to the ends.

Paddle Agitator It is a more versatile form of agitator and contains as many forward agitators as the backward. The paddles together mix by moving the product within the tank. This pattern allows better and speedier mixing. Paddle agitator can be used for small batch precision mixing as it can take as little as the 20% of the maximum capacity. Suitable for both wet and dry ingredients, it is recommended for fertilizers, chemicals and minerals.

Saw Tooth Agitator They are almost same as the paddle agitators accept that the forward paddles have saw like tooth. These saw tooth paddles ease the force on the agitator and the tank both. Further it cuts down on the pinch point between the paddle and the tank. These are ideal for non-free flowing and brittle products.
