Air & Gas Dryers

Air/Gas Dryers and Filters are used for the removal of moisture from process air and gases. This eliminates condensation, freeze-up, and moisture corrosion. It protects pneumatic instruments and extends the life of tools. They are used in the majority of the Industrial compressed air system and pneumatic applications.

Functioning
Wet compressed air is passed through a pre filter and directed to the main adsorption chamber through a piston and valve assembly. Here it passes through the desiccant. Dry compressed air from this chamber goes to an after filter through a check valve and is then passed on to the work area. The adsorbed moisture is then flushed out.
